How do i make a purchase?

  • Use the SHOP link to select the category of product you would like to purchase.
  • Once you have found an item, you could either select the standard size or fill in your measurements and click on the 'ADD TO SHOPPING BAG' button underneath each item.
  • Review the items in your shopping bag by clicking the 'SHOPPING BAG' link at the top of the page. You can use the 'REMOVE FROM BASKET' link to delete items from your shopping bag.
  • Click on 'PROCEED TO PURCHASE' to complete your order.

Do I need to set up an account to place an order?

Not necessarily. You could also proceed to check out as a guest.

I've forgotten my password. What should I do?

If you have forgotten your password, click on the 'FORGOT PASSWORD' instructions on the SIGN IN page

Which size should I choose?

All products are sold by the standard sizing scheme. Every product page has a display of regular as well as slim fit sizes. There is also a pictorial representation for the purpose of taking accurate measurements.

Are the colours of products shown on the website accurate?

While we have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of the products that appear on the Site, we cannot guarantee that your monitor or screen’s display of any colour will be completely accurate, as computer monitors and screens of electronic devices vary.

How do I know if an item is in stock?

All items are in stock unless ‘SOLD OUT’ is displayed.

What payment methods does Not Just Black accept?

We accept Visa and MasterCard, credit and debit cards. We also accept Net Banking.
There is NO COD available.
Please note that we do not accept any other methods of payment apart from those listed above.

Is it safe to use my credit card online at Not Just Black?

At Not Just Black, your personal online security is important to us. We use the latest SSL encryption technology to store and safely transmit your personal and credit card information through our systems. All orders are processed through a secure checkout system.

Why do I need to re-enter my credit card details when I add a new address?

All your data is secured with payment gateway. We do not store any card details on our website.

Does Not Just Black ship to multiple addresses?

Unfortunately, you may only ship to one address per order. If your order contains gifts or items that require shipping to multiple locations, you will need to place separate orders for each address. For corporate orders, please contact customer@notjustblack.in for assistance.

Do I need to sign for my order?

Due to the high value of the goods that we sell, we require proof of delivery for all orders. This means we are unable to authorise packages to be delivered without a signature.

Can I change my shipping address after my order has been dispatched?

We are unfortunately unable to redirect orders once your items have been dispatched. Therefore, please ensure you provide a suitable shipping address for the specified delivery times.

Can I add items to an existing order?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to combine orders or add items to an existing order.

How will I know you received my order & when will payment be deducted?

After you place your order, you will be sent an email confirming that it has been received. In case of use of a debit or bank transfer, the amount will be debited immediately. In case of use of a credit card the amount will be deducted within 24 hours.

Can I track my order?

A tracking code will be provided to you where you could verify via the logistics website.

Where is my order?

We aim to dispatch all orders within 3-4 days. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of dispatch, Not Just Black is not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive email confirmation of your shipping details and a tracking number. If you have registered, you will be able to view and track the status of your shipment by signing in and selecting MY ACCOUNT followed by ORDER STATUS. If you are not registered, sign up now so you can track future orders.

How much duties and taxes will I have to pay?

For Indian Customers. Product prices displayed are inclusive of all taxes and duties.. For International Customers. Product Prices displayed are exclusive of all import duties. As the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are in, payment of these at the time of delivery is necessary to release your order from customs on arrival.

Is my package insured?

All items are insured against theft and accidental damage whilst in transit from Not Just Black to the shipping address. Once your items have been delivered to the specified delivery address and signed for, they are no longer covered by insurance. If your box is damaged upon arrival, we recommend that you either refuse the delivery, or make a note when signing for it that you are accepting a damaged box.

Can I add items to an existing order?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to combine orders or add items to an existing order.

Is my personal information kept private?

Please be assured that your personal information is kept private and confidential and at no point will we rent or sell this. To register at Not Just Black, we will need to know your name, mailing address and email address. When processing your order online we require your billing address, shipping address, telephone number, credit card number and expiration date. If necessary, these details may be shared with a credit reference agency to verify your order.

Do I need to make an appointment for studio visit, travelling stylist, or styling ?

Yes, a prior appointment is required for all three services – studio visit, travelling stylist and styling. You can book an appointment via our ‘SERVICES’ page. Our timings are from 11AM to 07:00 PM, Monday to Saturday. We are shut on Sundays and all public holidays.

How long does a consultation take?

The duration of the consultation can vary from 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending upon how long it takes to make a selection.

How long will it take to have my outfit ready?

After the consultation and design stage, and a first trail, we would ideally take 10 to 12 days to complete the entire process.

Can I bring in a picture of a style that I like or a suit I like the fit of?

Reference images are more than welcome as it helps us understand your requirements.

Do you carry out repairs and alterations?

We carry out repairs & alterations on Not Just Black garments only. If the garment is brought back for alteration after the delivery date, an additional charge will be levied for the same. If the garment is bought online, the brand needs to be notified within 24 hours of delivery with the packaging and tags intact upon return.

Will I need to pay a deposit during a visit after placing an order ?

Yes, we require a 50% deposit at the time of order for a studio visit, travelling stylist or styling ensemble, with the balance due on the final delivery of the garments.Payment for clothing bought online is due on purchase as payment can be only via bank transfer or card.

Can I cancel my order after placing it ?

After placing an order, we will send you an email of confirmation along with processing. Once this email has been sent out an order cannot be cancelled.
When an order is placed during a visit, it cannot be cancelled once the customer has payed an advance for the order.

What do I do if I need to alter my outfit ?

In case of placing an order via the brand’s online shopping you would have to intimate us within 24 hours of receiving the product. However, if you have filled in measurements instead of standard measurements, you would have to bear the cost of the alteration.
In case of an order placed during the visit, the first alteration at the time of delivery will be taken care of. Any alterations post delivery, an alteration fee would have to be borne by you. For more information please refer to our 'SHIPPING AND RETURNS'policy

Why are individual pieces more expensive than looks ?

When looks are put together it automatically becomes one entire outfit with several pieces. To differentiate further, individual pieces in Nehru jackets are given the Not Just Black exclusive lining where as you wouldn’t find that in Shop The Looks. Further more, Shop The Looks takes 14-20 working days for a delivery whereas an individual piece takes only 7-10 working days to reach you.
